about us

My Forever Family Shoebox is a service that was lovingly put together by Steve Cordova. (That’s me in the photo below… having fun!)

I work for a company called Photomax that digitizes and stores irreplaceable photos forever. My idea in starting My Forever Family Shoebox is to offer you some of the services provided by Photomax but to personalize the process and make it fun.

I’ve been with Photomax (owned by NSE Enterprises--NUS on the New York Stock Exchange), for almost 21 years.  The one thing I count on--and you can too--is that Photomax is here to stay.

How can I be so confident that “forever” means forever? Your photos and mine are housed in a tunnel dug two miles deep into the western ridge of the Rocky Mountains and backed up twice a week. This “Granite Vault” was designed  and built to survive any disaster.

Shoebox Consultants

Kathleen Tannert (that’s my Mom) has been associated with NSE for almost 20 years. She’s a mother of three and a grandmother of four. She comes from an East Texas family rich with history. She understands the value of permanently preserving our family’s photos.  And she enjoys helping others do the same.

Sandra de las Fuentes has been associated with NSE for about one year.  She is the single parent of two growing boys who really appreciates the extra income she makes from this business. She also comes from a family extraordinarily rich with history and appreciates the value in preserving her family’s photos forever.  And she speaks Spanish for your convenience. “Y ella habla español para su conveniencia.”
